What MP3+G means
MP3+G is a common karaoke format. The MP3 contains the backing track, while the CDG file contains timed lyric graphics and colour changes.
How it works
Many karaoke downloads contain either MP3+G files or MP4 karaoke videos. ZipSing reads them locally and keeps the player controls simple.
MP3+G is a common karaoke format. The MP3 contains the backing track, while the CDG file contains timed lyric graphics and colour changes.
MP4 karaoke files contain the audio and lyric video together. ZipSing plays them locally with the same transport, fullscreen, and queue controls.
Karaoke suppliers often package files in a ZIP so related media stays together. ZipSing can open MP3+G ZIPs and MP4s inside ZIPs directly.
The player uses browser File APIs. Your ZIP, MP3, CDG, MP4, filenames, and local paths are not uploaded to ZipSing.
The server only delivers the website and player app. It does not process user media.
You can add multiple local files, assign singer names, reorder the queue, mark songs sung, and export playlist metadata without uploading media.
